While every village deserves its own VERTICAL KILOMETRE, not every village gets one.
Fortunately, POSTALESIO – thanks to the incredible efforts of Dario & Cristina, the organic cheese producers from Sopralapanca – have created this amazing route. It starts off from Pra’ Lone and covers 1,000 metres exactly in 4.99 km up to the emergency shelter at Colina. Follow the signs for alpe colina, don’t let up until you’ve gone up through the cluster of mountain huts at Colina. The top is above these huts, but below the lake.
When you’ve done it and come back down, make sure you call in and tell Dario & Cristina because they will be delighted to know your thoughts.
